Document Delivery: Requesting

Describes document delivery and interlibrary loan service available at Monash University Library

Checking online availability

In Search:

  • select Advanced search
  • in the first dropdown box, select Title
  • in the search box, type the title of the publication (ie name of journal or book)
  • for Material type, select journals or books
  • click GO

Click the View It tab to view date ranges of online access

Click the Get It tab to get the call number and holdings for the print version, if available

Requesting

1. Before completing the request check:

  • Is it already available online from Search?
  • Does it comply with copyright?
  • Can I request it? Check Policies.
  • Should it be purchased for the collection instead of an interlibrary loan? Recommend to your supervisor/contact librarian.

2. Tips on completing the form:
