Monash theses manuscripts are not available for loan.  Many theses are available online through the Monash University Research Repository (2010-), although some may have access restrictions.

Non Monash theses

Theses from other universities are sometimes available for Interlibrary loan through the Document delivery service, or it may be possible to order a copy either for the library collection or for your own use.

  • Check first for open access. Check Trove (Australia/New Zealand) and/or sources listed in International theses
  • Place a document delivery request .  Postgraduates may be asked to obtain approval from supervisor or contact librarian.
  • If you would like to include in the library's collection, request via your academic supervisor or contact librarian

Monash theses in Microform

Monash Masters and higher degree theses submitted prior to 2005 may be available on microfiche.

What are microfiche?

Microfiche are pieces of film containing microreproductions of theses, journals, and other significant documents.

Where are the microfiche?

The location of microfiche is noted in Search. Please see staff at the relevant library for assistance.

Can I make copies?

Microfiche readers/machines have printing capabilities; some machines also allow you to make PDF.
