Peer reviewed (or refereed) journals contain articles that have been reviewed by experts before being published.

What is Plagiarism?

Plagiarism is taking, using, and passing off as your own, the ideas or words of another. It is a serious academic offence, and can result in your work being failed.

Avoiding plagiarism: Take note of where you find information, and acknowledge the work of others (including text, quotations, graphics, diagrams, tables and figures).
