Learning skills advisers assist students in improving their academic language and approaches to learning.
Attend a drop-in session where you can discuss your individual study needs with a learning skills adviser. Drop-ins are held in all campus libraries, and no appointment is necessary.
Book into a class. Learning skills advisers run workshops covering topics such as referencing, academic writing, presentation skills, working in teams and exam preparation.
Language and Learning Online
A collection of resources to help students improve their academic performance. The site contains information, tutorials, examples and interactive exercises focusing on increasing proficiency in the areas of Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening, Studying and Grammar.
