Librarians can help you to create an effective search strategy for researching your topic and advise you on the best techniques for searching online databases and other sources. The Library receives one copy of each doctoral and masters thesis accepted by Monash University. Theses are not available for loan, and generally only the microfiche copies are available for consultation.
To search for a specific thesis held by the Library, in Basic search, type your keywords (enclose in quotation marks if it is a phrase) and click Go. From the results screen refine your results using the Theses limit on the left side of the screen.
If finding a thesis using Advanced search, enter your keywords and select Theses in the Material type drop-down list. Click Go.
Use the Limits to further refine your search as needed.
