Where can I find journal articles?

Monash University Library provides access to a large collection of journals and journal articles. You can find and access journal articles using a range of different tools, including those listed below.

Library Search:

  • Can restrict your search to peer reviewed articles
  • Access the full text of journal articles via the View it tab

Library databases:

Google Scholar:

  • Includes academic sources, many of which are peer reviewed articles.
  • Configure to link to full text via Monash University Library. For instructions refer to the Check for full text guide.

To check if an article is likely to have been peer reviewed, use Ulrichsweb to check if the journal it's published in is peer reviewed.

 

 

Accessing full text

Databases:

  • Access databases through the Library website
  • Look for a "Check for full text" link or the Image of check for full text button button to access the full text of an article
  • Not all databases have full text for every article
