Arcade and console video games

Cite video games by their title, including the developer and the of year the version you're discussing. Note that the publisher and developer may be the same company. You can also acknowledge designers in your text. 

Rule for Note

Note number. Title of Game, edition, version (developer, year), operating system, additional information of relevance such as URL/author/composer/animator etc.

1. Daytona USA, Sega, (Sega AM2, 1993), Sega Model 2 Arcade System, https://www.sega.com/games/daytona®-usa-1

Developer. Title of Game. Edition, version. Publisher, year. Operating system. Additional information of relevance such as URL/author/composer/animator etc..

Example of Bibliography entry

Sega AM2. Daytona USA. Sega. Sega AM2, 1993. Sega Model 2 Arcade System. https://www.sega.com/games/daytona®-usa-1

 

Mobile apps

Cite software and apps by their title, including the developer and the of year the version you're discussing. Include any version numbers and details of the device or operating system required to run it, if available. You can use version numbers to differentiate between iterations if relevant; if not, cite the latest version. You can also acknowledge designers in your text. See Chicago Rule 14.268.
