A comprehensive library guide for researchers and students of all aspects of Indonesian collection

Information

Southeast Asian Pamphlet collection

LocationAsian Collections

This large collection of over 2000 pamphlets is mainly from Indonesia with a smaller quantity from other parts of Southeast Asia. Most of the pamphlets date from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s and are in Indonesian, English or Dutch. The collection includes many rare items, such as political pamphlets.

The collection is arranged in pamphlet boxes under very broad subject headings. Brief author/title entries for each item can be found in the library catalogue and have Location code: MAT ASRL SEA Pamphlets. The collection is being progressively catalogued.

Generally, items from the pamphlet collection may not be borrowed as they are rare and fragile, but browsing is allowed and most items can be  photocopied.
