This is the forum where researchers and scholars first report their findings and ideas. Theories and ideas circulating in contemporary visual culture will be discussed in journal articles. Journals are ongoing publications also referred to as serials, periodicals, magazines or newspapers.
Some journals are peer-reviewed or 'refereed', this means articles published in these journals have been critically evaluated by specialists or experts within academic and / or industry fields.
Many journals at Monash are available electronically, but some journals are only available in print . Articles from these journals may be requested by Monash staff and postgraduate students via the document delivery service.

Journal of visual culture: international, refereed journal which is a site for astute, informative and dynamic thought on the visual. It promotes research, scholarship and critical engagement with visual cultures.
