Analysis and Policy Observatory  -  APO specialises in grey literature and provides access to a range of research reports, working papers, discussion papers and statistics for effective public policy debate, decision making and implementation

ARDC (Australian Research Data Commons)  -   access to nationally significant collections of high-quality data.

Australia.gov.au - Office of the Prime Minister of Australia.  Information on current issues for the Government including budget, housing, jobs etc.

Australian National Data Service -This site allows Australian researchers to reuse research data. It provides national services such as Research Data Australia and is building the Australian Research Data Commons; promoting partnerships and resources to enable researchers to share data collections

Closing the Gap Clearinghouse -The AIHW and Australian Institute of Family Studies clearinghouse provides evidence-based research on overcoming disadvantage for Indigenous Australians

Creative Australia - Government website with research and data on arts in Australia.

data.gov.au -  the central source of Australian open government data. Anyone can access the anonymised public data published by federal, state and local government agencies.

IP Australia -Produced by the Australian government this site provides access to searchable patent, trademark and design databases

Parliament of Australia - bills and legislation, committees, statistics and Hansard

Trove ( National Library Australia) -Trove provides a free search service/repository of Australian material including digital theses, digitised magazines and newspapers

British Library-  Reports, conferences and theses can be searched through the British Library Integrated Catalogue

Dimensions - Dimensions includes datasets, grants, patents, clinical trials and policy documents

HathiTrust Digital Library  - Variety of historical materials, including some US government reports

OpenDOAR - Directory of open access university repositories

Overton -  Overton is a comprehensive collection of global policy documents, parliamentary transcripts, government guidance and think tank research.

PAIS - (Public Affairs Information Service). PAIS International and PAIS Archive (1915-1976). The PAIS International database contains continually updated records for over half a million journal articles, books, government documents, statistical directories, grey literature, research reports, conference papers, web content, and more. 

RAND Publication Database -  Papers and reports on topics of current public policy interest, including criminal justice, education, health, national security and international affairs, energy, environment, and science and technology. Contains indexing records for all of RAND's publicly available documents, many with links to full text reports.

Science.gov - Gateway to selected science information provided by the US government agencies. Includes research and development results.

UNdata - United Nations data on population, country and regional profiles

Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. -  The AIHW is the national agency providing reliable, regular and relevant information and statistics on Australia's health and welfare

PAIS Index - Various material relevant to public policy, including government  and organisational reports

Theses Canada - Theses Canada aims to acquire and preserve a collection of Canadian theses to provide access to this research around the world.
