A DOI usually looks something like this DOI: 10.1080/10911359.2011.535733 or this https://doi.org/10.1016/j.scog.2021.100194, and may be found on the first page of a journal article, on the landing page for an e-book, or within the item's database record.
You can use a DOI to find articles by pasting it into your browser address bar or use Google.
