Staff can assist with approaches to learning & research, including:

  • effective use of databases and the internet 
  • essay, report and thesis writing 
  • finding and evaluating information 
  • how and where to start researching your topic
  • oral communication and presentation
  • using the Library's collections
  • writing for research projects


Higher Degree by Research students can arrange individual consultations with a  specialist Education Subject Librarian or Learning Skills Adviser.
