What is a primary source=?

primary source is a document or object that was written or created at the time under investigation. 

 

Some examples of primary sources are:

  • foreign broadcasts
  •  testaments
  • letters
  • diaries
  • visual materials
  • recordings
  • transcripts
  • newspapers, and much more.
