DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers)

doi  A DOI is a unique identifier for digital publications. If your article is published online it may be assigned a DOI by the publisher. If you are uploading your paper or data to a repository such as SSRN or Bridges, a DOI will be generated..

The DOI can be used to promote your work via social media and make sure metrics are obtained for the same publication.

Use Social media and Altmetrics

Altmetrics (or Alternative metrics) are part of a wider conversation around the use of measures taltmetrico try and capture the potential impact of research within academia and beyond.
