Tips

  • Magazines are cited similarly to newspapers. Any volume/issue numbers are omitted, as is the City/State of publication. Refer to the manual for further guidance.
  • Page numbers, if any, can be cited in a note but are omitted from a bibliography entry.
  • If a newspaper article has no author listed, cite the title of the newspaper in italics instead.
  • Newspaper items are often not listed in the bibliography if they have been documented in the text. However a bibliography entry may be required for assessments.

Tips

  • If the broadcast is viewed through live stream, on demand, or through a database, include the URL.
