Lawlex Premium is a one-stop-shop for tracking and searching Australian legislation. Alerts are issued within 24 hours of legislative changes across all Australian jurisdictions. Alerts consist of plain English summaries authored by SAI Global legal editors, with hyperlinks to the source documents. LawOne indexes and classifies in full text all Australian Commonwealth and state legislation, across all nine jurisdictions, including amending, subordinate and repealed legislation, bills, explanatory memoranda and second reading speeches, along with detailed legislative histories. Updated daily, it also enables multi-profile alerting and legislative activity reporting delivered in the format convenient to users.

Capital Monitor provides parliamentary, political, legislative, regulatory and judicial news and information to its subscribers almost as soon as it is available. The team are located in the Press Gallery within Parliament House in Canberra where they filter news and information before distributing it by e-mail to subscribers according to their monitoring briefs. All content is updated on Capital Monitor's comprehensive database which allows you to conduct keyword search anytime, on any jurisdiction and for content from 1996 onwards.

Lexis Advance is an online legal research platform offering a range of services for legal reference and research. It provides a comprehensive coverage of Australian full text legislation with a fully integrated citator tool, LawNow Plus Legislation Citator, and Australian Law Reports, which includes reported High Court, Federal Court and state and territory decisions from all 9 jurisdictions. It also provides a range of authorised report series in full text, including the New South Wales Law Reports, Queensland Reports, Victorian Reports and Administrative Law Decisions. Links to the UK’s authorised ICLRs, and and a legal encyclopaedia are also available.

Nearly all Australian Government publications are now published online and can be found using Google and other web search engines, so this is recommended as the key starting point for finding Government Publications. Try these resources if web search engines have not been helpful and contact the Library if you are still unable to find a Government document.

Data.gov.au provides an easy way to find, access and reuse public data.
Australian Data Association (ADA)
The Australian Data Archive (ADA) provides a national service for the collection and preservation of digital research data and to make these data available for secondary analysis by academic researchers and other users.
Historical Census and Colonial Data Archive (HCCDA)
A searchable archive of Australian Colonial census publications and reports
