American Psychologist ®, established in 1946, is the official peer-reviewed scholarly journal of the American Psychological Association. As such, American Psychologist publishes current and timely high-impact papers of broad interest, including empirical reports, meta-analyses, and scholarly reviews covering science, practice, education, and policy. Contributions often address national and international policy issues. Articles published are written in a style that is accessible to all psychologists and the public.

The Australian Journal of Psychology is the flagship publication of the Australian Psychological Society aimed at researchers in the field of psychological science. It is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes empirical research across the full range of pure and applied topics in psychological science, including: -Cognition- Perception and Awareness- Developmental Psychology- Motivation and Emotion- Social and Personality Psychology- Industrial and Organizational Psychology- Research Methodology- Health Psychology- Psychology Education. Topics which are of interest to researchers from more than one specialist area.

The Australian Psychologist is the flagship journal of the Australian Psychological Society for practicing professional psychologists. It is an international peer-reviewed journal which focuses on current issues in the science and practice of psychology, and how this applies to professional practice and public policy, with an emphasis on mental health and wellbeing. The Australian Psychologist is predominantly Australia-focused, cross-cultural, and inclusive of all demographics, including Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, with international perspectives encouraged. The British Journal of Psychology publishes original research on all aspects of general psychology including cognition; health and clinical psychology; developmental, social and occupational psychology.

Developmental Psychology ® publishes articles that significantly advance knowledge and theory about development across the life span. The journal focuses on seminal empirical contributions. The journal occasionally publishes exceptionally strong scholarly reviews and theoretical or methodological articles. Studies of any aspect of psychological development are appropriate, as are studies of the biological, social, and cultural factors that affect development.

Health Psychology® publishes original research in health psychology and behavioral medicine, as well as meta-analyses and other systematic reviews, narrative reviews, and methodological papers. Editorials, commentaries, scientific statements, and tutorials are by invitation only. The journal emphasizes research on psychosocial and behavioral aspects of physical health and medical illness; psychosocial and behavioral risk factors for medical illness; and on biobehavioral and psychosocial approaches to the prevention of medical conditions and the improvement of medical outcomes.

The Journal of Abnormal Psychology® publishes articles on basic research and theory in the broad field of psychopathology and other abnormal behaviors, their determinants, and correlates. The following topics fall within the journal's major areas of focus: -psychopathology — its etiology, development, symptomatology, and course -normal processes in abnormal individuals -experimental studies, with human or animal subjects, relating to disordered emotional behavior or pathology -sociocultural effects on pathological processes, including the influence of gender and ethnicity -novel methods developed to measure psychopathological mechanisms.

The main purpose of the Journal of Educational Psychology® is to publish original, primary psychological research pertaining to education across all ages and educational levels. A secondary purpose of the Journal is the occasional publication of exceptionally important theoretical and review articles that are pertinent to educational psychology. Please note, the Journal does not typically publish reliability and validity studies of specific tests or assessment instruments.

Psychological Methods ® is devoted to the development and dissemination of methods for collecting, analyzing, understanding, and interpreting psychological data. Its purpose is the dissemination of innovations in research design, measurement, methodology, and quantitative and qualitative analysis to the psychological community; its further purpose is to promote effective communication about related substantive and methodological issues.

Psychological Review ® publishes articles that make important theoretical contributions to any area of scientific psychology, including systematic evaluation of alternative theories. Papers mainly focused on surveys of the literature, problems of method and design, or reports of empirical findings are not appropriate.
